Sorry, there is indeed a typo - I wrote 'slide' when I meant
to write 'slice' - probably a finger reflex!  I don't work
on brains - if the cells are intact and alive you can of course
measure a membrane potential but presumably some at least of the
neurons must have been cut in making the slice?  Even if you can
measure an action potential electrophysiologically I can't see
how you can get a membrane potential with D18-ANNEPS unless
the cell has an intact and functional (polarized) membrane.
