Hello Prabhakar:
You can purchase an inexpensive PCI (or PCI Express) expansion board. Check
your new computers' motherboard for available slot types. One such company
is SIIG, and the boards are listed under I/O.
Best,
Charles

Subject: key for Software

Hello,
We have a old version of Image Pro Plus software ver 4.5 which runs
via a parallel port key.

Recently our old computer crashed and we upgraded to a new one. We found
that the new computers don't have a parallel port to plug the key.

Upgrading the software is out of our budget to get the USB key.

Is there a way to make the parallel key work with a USB. I tried the USB
to Parallel converting cable, but although it works fine for printers but
not
for the software as they key is not recognized.

Any suggestions will help us a lot.

Thanks,

-Prabhakar
