We are the lucky owners of a Coherent Chameleon laser, which is part of our
Zeiss confocal system.  The laser has been functioning flawlessly for a
couple of years now.  We have this under a rather expensive service contract
and we are under financial pressure to drop the contract.  To help weight
the pros and cons of having this laser under a service contract I am
interested in hearing other people's experience with reliability of the
system and costs involved in out-of-warrant repairs.
