They probably don't like to grow on glass and prefer plastic.  You could try different adherence coatings to be able to grow them on glass.

Dear All
We are working with B16F10 melanoma cell line  which
is a highly adhesive line , recently we are facing the
problem of growing them . When we grow them in petri
plates it spreads very well but when seeded on
coverslips it remains rounded. What could be the
possible reason.
