You should look up Nyquist sampling in Pawley's book and set your pixel
spacing to more sensible numbers. That way your stack will be MUCH
smaller and you won't run out of memory.
This should help, but there does seem to be a memeory leak problem
somwhere... Vista is pretty awful too.
