   I've used the Olympus FV300 to do CARS microscopy, SHG, THG, and 
2photon, and all I can say is it is terrific, if the Olympus FV1000 is 
an improvement over the FV300 so much the better.  I've found the 60x 
UplanAPO IR and the new 60x UPlansAPo along with the 20x/0.75 UPlansAPo 
objectives to be great objectives for nonlinear and general work.
