Interview Series: Beginning in early 2021, the ISHPSSB Education
Committee will be running an interview series with authors of recent
books in the history, philosophy, and social studies of biology. The
first interviews will be with biologist Andreas Wagner and with
philosophers Cailin O’Connor and James Weatherall.

Colloquium Series: For its fall/winter series the KLI will host a
speaker each Thursday at 3:00-4:30pm (Central European Time) via Zoom.
The speakers will take a conceptual and reflexive approach to the
sustainability sciences, cognitive science, evolutionary biology,
and/or the history and philosophy of life sciences. Speakers are

Call for Abstracts: "Digital Studies of Digital Science," 15-18 March
2021.The conference will take place virtually, in the
afternoon/evening Europe time or the morning North America time.

Postdoc: Dalhousie University (Halifax, Canada) seeks two two-year
Postdoctoral Fellows, to be cross-appointed in the Department of
Biochemistry & Molecular Biology and the Department of Philosophy.
Candidates must have a PhD in Philosophy, the History and Philosophy
of Science, or Science and Technology Studies, with a focus on
evolutionary biology. Start date between 1 October 2020 and 1 March
2021. Deadline: Open until filled.
