Hi Angela,
GREAT to hear from you and thanks for the Update.
I know what you mean by being spread to thin, I am too.
So, I interpert what you said about 20 Leica's to mean Cytogenetics in the
Hospital at Ann Corks old position. Schares always had the fast track there.
Our rep, Laura Driscol is progressing very well at TMC but as technology
progresses so does customer requirements and there just doesn't seem to be
enough time in a day to do everything. She's a great person and knows her
stuff, you should look her up.
In an answer to your very good question concering achromatic collector
lenses, ( of course Zeiss knows, and Ernst has retired by the way but still
consults for Zeiss): You can obtain a color correct one from a company
called Opti-Quipt for $700. Call me for the phone number or maybe Helmut
knows.
I've been listening about the grief Bio-Rad has gotten and Nikon will not
fall into the same, we still care about customer needs, although the
ecomony makes it difficult for Bio-Rad.
Take care and keep in touch.
Regards,
Stan Schwartz
