I am in the process of purchasing a confocal microscope. I would be most
grateful for any advice on this subject. I only have limited budget, and
my work will be mostly pathology. I would probably need a upright
microscope. The questions I have:

1. The Zeiss system seems more expensive, does it offer better image
quality over others?

2. If I choose Biorad, is Zeiss microscope better than Nikon?

3. Do I need film recorder or video printer for data publishing?

4. Is the new Kr-Argon laser provided by Biorad a stable laser source?

Please provide me any experience, good or bad, in confocal microscope that
you are using.

Many Thanks.
