POST-DOCTORAL POSITION
The graduate school "Institute of Cellular Signalling" of the University of
Nijmegen obtained a major grant for a real-time confocal ratio-imaging
system. This equipment allows measurement of intracellular analytes with a
high spatial and temporal resolution. The departments of Cell Physiology
and Biochemistry are seeking a POST-DOCTORAL SCIENTIST for two years with a
strong background in confocal laser scanning microscopy. The successful
applicant will be expected to implement this sophisticated equipment within
the infrastructure of the graduate school and subsequently assist and train
other scientists with their ongoing research on the confocal system.
Furthermore, exciting opportunities for research development exist within
two collaborative established groups studying the role of subcellular rises
in free cytosolic calcium concentration in the hormonal regulation of
secretion and transport processes in epithelia.
To apply please send a curriculum vitae, bibliography, brief statement of
research interest, and three letters of recommendation to:
Rene J. Bindels, Ph.D. or Peter H. Willems, Ph.D.
