Confocal Operator/Assistant Position

The Purdue University Cytometry Laboratories has a new staff
position available to help run our confocal operations. This
person would help operate 2 confocal microscopes by guiding
and training users where necessary. Involvement in research
projects in the center would be encouraged.
The Purdue center has 2 confocal scopes - an MRC 1024 UV/vis
system as well as a direct view DVC 250 scope and several image
analysis systems.

In addition the center has several flow cytometer systems so the
position will allow the successful candidate to gain
extensive experience in these technologies.

Purdue University is situated about 100 miles south of
Chicago and 60 miles north of Indianapolis, is a large
country town, but is typical of university towns in that it
contains a sophisticated community spirit!! The cost of
living is relative low, but the standard is high!

Anyone interested in this position (it could be converted to
a postdoc) should contact Dr. J.Paul Robinson, the center
director (for more information see below).
