Someone on the list recently ask for a good 3D reconstruction software.
 
I think you should have a look at :

also it's a geological dedicated software it has  very good interpolations
capabilities as you would see on those web pages.
 
I HAVE NO INTEREST IN THAT SOFTWARE AT ALL.
