Good afternoon,

it seems to be a generally accepted fact that Ca2+ ions have an
adhesivity to glass and fused silica. In the concentration range
["0", 50umol], this adhesivity might cause unnegligible changes
to [Ca2+] in a buffered solution.
Does anybody know a publication where the adhesivity of Ca2+ ions
in buffered solution to glass and/or fused silica is analyzed,
possibly in quantitative terms?

Thank you for your consideration.

Happy new year!

Paul Johannes Helm
