julie hens ;question 2
<if i have frozen sections of tissue, and supposing it
had GFP in it, would i be able to still see the GFP fluorescing?.. Is it
stable enough to go thru the freeze/thaw process in tissue? and then
perhaps a light fix? with glutaraldehyde?>
1. GFP does well in frozen sections, its relatively difficult to denature.
2. Gentle fixation is tolerated but avoid glutaraldehyde. Instead try paraformaldehyde(2-4%).
