I have an Olympus Sys.230 which I like very much for archival. It's cheap
(~$300), fast, and reliable. However, I have had trouble reading & writing my
PC/Olympus MOs with a Mac/Pinnacle MO drive. I have been told that the MO
drives are not very compatible between manufacturers.
