I suggest you contact:

General Fiber Optics
98 Commerce Road
Cedar Grove, NJ 07009

Phone: 201-239-3400
Fax: 201-239-4258

However, I suspect that you will have some difficulty launching enough
optical power into a very fine fiber to achieve uncaging, unless you are
using a laser source. And then the UV laser will degrade the fiber end
over time. A tapered fiber may help. Contact me directly if you run
into problems.
