We have a BioRad MRC1000 using the LaserSharp 2.1T software in a multi-user
facility. We replaced the laser in 5/97, again in 10/97, and I had to
place a call for yet another replacement today. This is very frustrating
(not to mention costly). Are other labs experiencing the same laser
failure? What are you doing to extend the life of your laser or far-red line?

Sincerely,
