On the LSM 410 you can create a color table in the pulldown menu
Image -> color tables -> user color table
You can create gradients in red green and blue, but you cannot freely
edit
the colors. However the color table is stored in a simple format: The
RGB
values for each intensity value (0...255) are stored as bytes. First
come
all values for the red channel from 0 to 255 then all green and all red.
You can create an arbitrary color table with a hex-editor, if you have
the
patience to do that:-)
