I have also had this problem of "bleeding" with DiI and DiO and is
currently looking for a way to mount and clear stained preps.  I have
also used glycerol as well a radiopaque contrast medium called Hypaque
at someone's reccomendation, but also encountered the problem of
bleeding.  I would also appreciate any suggestions on this matter.
