Can anyone help me with these chemicals?
I need to know what the excitation and emission wavelengths are. I think
the Calcein is probably Calcein Green so I know that one but I am not 100%
sure of that. They have been used on some bone samples that someone has
brought to me in the hope that we can visualise them with the Confocal. I
can see the Calcein in the 510nm range but am not sure what I am getting in
the second channel of my microscope it could be a combination of bith the
Xylenol orange or the tetracycline???
The samples have all been prepared some time ago so I don't think we can do
anything about the preparation.
tetracycline hydrochloride (Supramycina
pro infusione 500mg,
5mg/kg calcein (Calcein C-0875, Sigma Chemical
xylenol orange
(Xylenol Orange X-0127,
CALCEIN IS BLUE OR GREEN, TETRACYCLINE-YELLOW,
>XYLENOL-ORANGE.
I would very much appreciate any ideas
Thanks
