Dear Colleagues,
We would like to invite you to attend the Symposium "Frontiers in
Biological Fluorescence Symposium 2024" which is being organized in
Professor Enrico Gratton's honor.
Professor Enrico Gratton established the Laboratory for Fluorescence
Dynamics (LFD), which later evolved into a P41 Center for Biomedical
Fluorescence Spectroscopy. The center was funded via the successful
acquisition of the NIH's National Institute of General Medical Sciences
(NIGMS) (grant number 8P41GM103540). The LFD has continuously pioneered
fluorescence-based biomedical technologies, profoundly impacting techniques
in cellular and tissue imaging, molecular and particle tracking,
correlation spectroscopy, and fluorescence lifetime-based imaging. These
accomplishments owe to the ingenuity, diligence, and commitment of
Professor Enrico Gratton and the scholars he has trained over the past
three+ decade
Professor Enrico Gratton has officially retired. To honor his achievements
and thank him for his impact and contributions, we will host a Symposium,
