2. One-year Visiting Assistant Professor or Visiting Lecturer
position at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, beginning
Fall 2006. AOS: Philosophy of Science; AOC: Open. Courses to be
taught include Philosophy of Biology, Advanced Topics in Philosophy
Science, and Introduction to Philosophy. Evaluation of applications
will begin immediately and will continue until the position is
filled.

3. The Department of History and Philosophy of Science at the
University of Cambridge seeks to appoint a Research Associate to work
on a 3-year philosophical project on biological accounts of human
nature and their applications to ethical and political theory.
