A message from Paul Griffiths, Local Arrangements Co-Chair:

There has been a bit of a misunderstanding about accommodation. It
seems that someone at the Inchcolm Hotel registration desk thought
that the ISHPSSB reserved rooms were a block booking and has been
telling people who call that they are booked out those nights when,
in fact, they are holding the rooms for our delegates to book! If you
have had this experience you should contact the Inchcolm again and
say that you are calling in connection with the ISHPSSB meeting.

Conference updates:

1. The Inchcolm: if you have been told they are full, please call
back and mention that you are with ISHPSSB.

2. Emmanuel College: There are now no ensuite room or flats left to
book. Only "shared ensuite between two rooms" and the "standard
single rooms with shared facilities" remain.

3. Flights: Virgin have just started flying the US West
Coast-Australia route and Delta are starting in July and you can now
book. This increased competition should mean better fares.

4. Tourism: information on specific pre- and post- conference tours
will be posted on the conference website by March 23rd.
