Dear Minnesotans and others,

I *was* there and I can tell you that seeing the Solitaire was nothing shy
of fantastic.

I do want to mention that that bird seemed to behave as though he were
hanging around. He thrice returned to this patch of leafless bushes and
trees that lie just west of the house.

We used the a Garmin GPS to find the address and and came up with 1759
Lookout Ridge Rd. This is in fact not the address of the property on which
the bird was seen but what the Garmin would like it to be.

I don't think that anyone should be upset in our reporting of the
equivalent to coordinates. After all, that is a public road maintained with
Minnesotan (your) tax dollars.

Google map and directions<http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&saddr=ely+mn&daddr=1759+lookout+ridge+rd,+ely+mn&hl=en&geocode=&mra=ls&sll=47.89701,-91.861753&sspn=0.027392,0.054932&ie=UTF8&ll=47.896319,-91.860209&spn=0.027393,0.054932&z=14>

We tried to meet and talk to the owners of this blue house but no one was
home.

Peace and good birding to all!
